Alyson Huber worked tirelessly in a very difficult race to inch out a win in 2008, the first Democrat to represent AD 10 in 18 years. Alyson is a strong defender of our Delta resources, working to develop reasonable solutions. Running Against a Career Politician

Chris Parker is a tax attorney running for California's tax board. The Board of Equalization (BOE) serves as the State's tax court and is responsible for tax administration and fee collection. It is time to elect someone to the BOE with the background and expertise to close loopholes, expose tax cheats and help small businesses navigate a complex tax code.

Chris is running against Senator George Runner who is a career politician and a Tea Party favorite. In November, voters will have a choice between a terming out career politician or Chris, a tax attorney with the experience necessary to serve on the board. Let's help Chris become the next member of the Board of Equalization from district 2.

Dr. Bera continues to meet one-on-one with voters at house parties across northern California, and with over 2,400 volunteers knocking on doors and making phone calls, the campaign has spread Dr. Bera's message of job creation and middle-class recovery to over 170,000 voters.
